We just finished school No.7 at El Hogar…..

We built 7 schools in:

1. La Puerta
2. Los Llanitos
3. El Roblar
4. La Cuchilla
5. Tierra Blanca
6. La Crux DL Fuente
7. El Hogar

Each school replaced an old wood or corn structure, without windows. Some schools were held right in the open under a tree We started our school building from the ground up. The local school officials and ALL the villagers helped with digging the foundation, mixing the cement, laying the blocks, painting the schools.

We supplied the material and the expertise. Many of our volunteers went there for 2 to 3 months. All the volunteers are from the Niagara district. Many students went for 10 days.
