School Project Ellie Crozier and Serene Nekoi

Ellie Crozier and her friend Serene Nekoi chose Wells of Hope as their school project to raise awareness of the poor in Guatemala and decided to fundraise for WElls of Hope cause. Here we see Ellie presenting Wells of Hope the funds collected. At her grade 8 graduation, Ellie received the Brandee Elliot Citizenship award from her school for this effort. Well done and thanks!

Canadian Martyrs Catholic School Fundraiser May 2011

Linda Rivard, Grade 7 teacher at CMCS, and a dedicated group of students conducted a fundraiser for Wells of Hope and raised over $1,000. John van der Zalm spoke at the school in April to raise awareness of the poor in Guatemala and to thank the students for their work.
