Our Community Aid Program includes the construction of pedestrian bridges that help people, including children, cross creeks and rivers safely especially during the rainy season when attending school.  This year, Heitor Chavantes of Chavantes & Oudman Engineering Inc. were part of the construction crew that went to Jalapa to oversee the repair of 5 bridges and the building of a new one.  They are going one step further and have decided to organize the “It’s a Wonderful Life Dinner” holiday event at Rodman Hall, which will take place on Friday, November 21st. They are hosting this dinner to kick off the Christmas season and raise funds for the Wells of Hope team to return to Guatemala in 2026.  All proceeds including ticket sales will go directly to Wells of Hope.

If you haven’t seen the recently updated heritage building at Rodman Hall, this is your chance to admire it!  The evening will start with cocktails at 5pm followed by dinner at 6pm.

Tickets are $150/person and can be purchased at: It’s a Wonderful Life Dinner website. If you have any questions, please contact us at events@wellsofhope.com.

We thank Heitor Chavantes and all his team for putting this event together and we hope we will see you at Rodman Hall on Friday November 21st!
