Annual fundraiser supports Wells of Hope charitable work in Guatemala. Funds raised provide the basic necessities of clean water, education, and basic healthcare.

Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario (February 10, 2020) – Wells of Hope’s annual fundraiser Taste and See returns Friday, March 6, 2020 at The Grand Olympia Hospitality and Convention Centre. The fundraiser features a food and wine tasting, silent auction and live music. This is an essential event for Wells of Hope which funds the development of water, healthcare and education programs in the mountainous areas of Jalapa and Jutiapa in Guatemala. Attendees can expect to enjoy a fun night with all proceeds going towards a noble cause.

 

“This season, we are set out to finish the health clinic at Laguna Itzacoba community and Taste and See fundraising efforts will help us finish the internal electrical installation and fixtures as well as finalize the water supply system for the building”, mentioned John van der Zalm, Director of Wells of Hope.

 

This year’s event will be held at the Grand Olympia Hospitality and Convention Centre in Stoney Creek, Ontario. Tickets are $75 each and include a food and wine tasting and live music. The event will also feature a live auction and a presentation of the work Wells of Hope has accomplished and hopes to accomplish over 2020.
