Who are Emma and Sandy?
Emma Kearns and Sandy Cole are two enthusiastic Bancroft ladies who had a big goal: raise $10,000 by the end of 2017 to contribute with the costs of providing clean water to the people in the mountains of Jalapa through the drilling of a well that will stop the cycle of the next generation of girls and young women who spent many hours a day collecting water. As Wells of Hope fine tunes which water projects it will concentrate on each year, Emma and Sandy go about raising funds through a local golf tournament and a BBQ… For the last 7 years, Emma and Sandy have surpassed their annual goal – in 2025 they raised $11,800!
