From Ted van der Zalm’s FB POST MARCH 3, 2024. At times our Faith can be challenged in the difficult moments that we pass through. We have had a very difficult month at Wells of Hope, from mechanical problems to heart wrenching realities of extreme poverty. Perseverance in Love has once again proven itself as the solution!
Vilder’s arm is on the mend after Miriam’s tender care! Food and clothing have been provided to the family. We will now try and find help for his seizures.
Digging deep into the creative mechanical imaginations of talented individuals to invent a solution, the rig is back together and drilling again! We have hit water in Laguneta! The well will be finished this week and will soon be providing water to the large community! There is still much to be done as people are seen lining up for hours to fill their jugs with the life-sustaining liquid.
Juan A and his hard-working team of local masons have almost completed the school in Sausal. Thanks to our donors, this new learning environment is sure to inspire teachers and students to give it their all on the road to becoming the best version of themselves!
Mason Andres and his team are completing another excellent learning facility in La Paz. Multiple washrooms, classrooms and a kitchen have been added to learning environment of this school. Again, thanks to the financial support that we have received!
Due to the request of many, Miriam has begun teaching English classes twice a week. The accredited sewing program provided in the Wells of Hope Clem Center has begun and is at overflow capacity! The welding course begins this week at Wells of Hope in the Ben Center. We are making improvements to our infrastructure so that we can enhance our production of school desks using recycled plastic bottles.
Rick is doing his magic in keeping our equipment and vehicles up and running. His generous heart to serve, using the talents that he has been blessed with, has helped us to bring many of our projects to a successful completion.
Thank you for allowing us to be your hands and feet of Love in areas where it is so desperately needed! We thank you for your continued support!
